Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of TranscriBridge, including the website at transcribridge.com, the SRT translation tool at srt.transcribridge.com, and the TranscriBridge Muxer desktop application (collectively, "the Service"). By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using TranscriBridge, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide when registering is accurate.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@transcribridge.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use TranscriBridge only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to process or distribute
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract the underlying models or infrastructure
• Use automated tools to submit jobs at a rate that disrupts service for other users
• Share or resell your account access

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all audio, video, and subtitle files you upload, as well as the transcripts and translations produced from them. By uploading files, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process them solely to deliver the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell or share it with third parties. Files are deleted after processing is complete.

5. Credits and Payments

Transcription minutes and SRT translation characters are purchased in advance and consumed as you use the Service. The free monthly allowance resets on the first day of each calendar month. Paid credits do not expire.

All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds for unused credits except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion in cases of clear billing error. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Processing times depend on queue length and file characteristics. We are not liable for delays, temporary outages, or processing failures beyond our reasonable control.

7. Accuracy

Transcription and translation results are produced by automated AI models. Accuracy varies depending on audio quality, speaking pace, accents, and other factors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before relying on them for any purpose. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of transcription or translation results.

8. TranscriBridge Muxer

The Muxer is a free desktop tool provided as-is for registered users. It uses ffmpeg, which is downloaded automatically on first run. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the tool complies with the terms of any media files you process with it. We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party media files or codecs.

9. Intellectual Property

TranscriBridge, its logo, design, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership rights in the Service or its components.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we determine, at our discretion, that continued access is harmful to the Service or other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@transcribridge.com. Unused paid credits are non-refundable upon voluntary account closure.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TranscriBridge and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
